DrillDAQ Smart Junction Boxes

The DrillDAQ Smart Junction Boxes provide the connectivity and analog to digital conversion of sensor data.
These junction boxes provide connectivity to all sensor types at the rig. They include intrinsic safety barriers for the necessary electrical isolation of the units from the sensors located in the explosive areas.

PetroDAQ Smart Junction Boxes are configurable and the number of inputs is not limited by the hardware and software design. The number of inputs can go from one to hundred's.

The Sensor Data is collected at high data rates: standard sensors are sampled 5 times per second. Specialty sensors such as vibration sensors are sampled up to 200 times a second.

Small

Typical use: Single equipment measurements, i.e: BOP testing, mud density equipment

Inputs:

3 x Current loops 4-20mA for Pressure sensing
3 x Relays for auto-calibration shunts
1 x Counter for pump stroke counts

Medium

Typical Use: Rig floor or Pits EDR

Inputs:

9 x Current loops (4-20mA)
2 x Voltage +-10VDC
4 x Counters
1 x Quadrature decoders

Large

Typical Use: Mudlogging EDR

Inputs:

28 x current loops (4-20mA)
4 x Voltage +-10VDC
8 x Counters
2 x Quadrature Decoders
