PetroDAQ supports the use of industry-wide standards to facilitate the exchange of information between the different players in oil & gas drilling operations. WITSML™ is one of those standards.

WITSML™ has matured as the de facto standard for interoperability in drilling operations, allowing the exchange of information in real-time between the rig contractors, service companies, operators, and consulting companies. This data exchange allows for a closer sensor to modeling application integration, with a result of increased accuracy and faster response in the drilling control and earth models.
